Jealousy is made up of many complicated parts involving your emotions. These emotions can range form suspicion and rage to fear and embarrassment. Everyone has experienced jealousy at some point in their life. Little kids get jealous when they get a new sibling and adults can experience jealousy in relationships.
Jealousy can be caused by low self-esteem or not having a lot of confidence. It can also be caused by past events that have happened in your life whether that be during childhood or in past relationships. Lets take an even deeper look into jealousy.

Pathological jealousy: Is based on irrationally and more than likely comes with a mental health diagnosis.
Romantic Jealousy: Based on real or made up threats in a relationship. Rational jealousy is based on something with evidence that leads to doubts.
Sexual Jealousy: Is based on fears that a partner may have cheated or engaged in communication that was inappropriate.
Irrational Jealousy: When it is not based on evidence or the person overreacts to the situation.
Intentional Jealousy: When someone does something intentional that causes someone else to be jealous.
Now that we have gone over the different types of jealousy think about if you have experienced any of these in your life. Were you the cause of jealousy or were you the jealous one. Is there anything you could have done differently to change how you or someone else felt? In most situations jealousy can be solved by communication and respecting what the other person has to say.
